Vice President, Practice Lead
The Vice President, Practice Lead is responsible for the development and growth of new and existing client accounts. In addition to securing qualified new business opportunities and managing the practice to reach growth goals, the role is primarily responsible for the execution of the firm’s Rova Method with clients — an industry-leading proprietary engagement platform used to create actionable and measurable strategic plans, including high-level creative and tactical executions. You will work with the New Client Acquisition team to close qualified opportunities for new accounts, which directly contribute to the firm’s overall growth. You will lead a practice that consists of Account Directors, Project Managers and Business Analysts, serving multiple clients to deliver measurable results, and directly supervise Account Directors within your practice to ensure client growth goals are met. This role reports directly to the CEO.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in a similar role with extensive experience working in marketing, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. MBA or equivalent experience required and experience working directly with C-level executives regularly is a must. Consulting background preferred with an ability to show proven sales capability is a must (i.e. not your traditional agency account director). Must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to discover and diagnose client challenges, while turning those challenges into opportunities for new business. Requires extensive comprehension and experience selling professional services to clients, and how to curate long-term relationships. Moderate travel anticipated.

You’ll have a deep understanding of the structure and decision making process within modern organizations, and be able to quickly and effectively identify and diagnose client challenges and opportunities for improvement.
COMFORTABLE WITH SENIOR LEADERSHIP
Possesses substantial experience working with senior and executive leadership, influencing and determining decision making and sound strategy with clients at this level.
Directly responsible for agency billings and expected to close new business, working alongside the Director of Client Acquisition.
COLLABORATION WITH CONFIDENCE
Works with our cross-functional, internal teams, as well as potential sales leads. You will be team oriented, but able to manage relationships independently and make decisions swiftly.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related activities as needed.
